1 yellow cake mix
1 can crushed pineapple (16 oz. size drained)
1/2 c. sugar
1 large container Cool Whip
1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding
Chopped nuts and cherries
4 bananas

1 box yellow cake mix. Bake as directed. Remove from the oven and while still hot, punch holes in cake with a wooden spoon handle. Take a can of crushed pineapple (drained) and mix with 1/2 cup sugar. Pour over the hot cake. Slice bananas over the pineapple mixture. Mix 1 large package of vanilla instant pudding and pour over bananas. Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped nuts. You can also add maraschino cherries.
