CRAB CHEESE BALLS 
1 lb. cream cheese
5/6 to 1 lb. crab flakes
2/3 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 jar Kraft pimiento spread
2 tsp. chopped chives
Walnuts or almonds
Parsley (optional)

Leave cream cheese out to soften. Chop crab flakes small. Chop chives very, very small.

Mix all ingredients except nuts and parsley well with gloved or very clean hands until well mixed. Roll into 8 oz. balls.

Chop nuts small, then crush with rolling pin. Mix parsley with nuts. Roll balls in parsley/nut combination. Refrigerate until served. Makes 4 balls. Should be served with Ritz crackers or Hi-Ho's.
