ICE BOX FRUIT CAKE 
1 (15 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers
1 c. broken pecans
1/2 lb. red and green cherries, cut
1/2 lb. red and green pineapple, cut
1/4 lb. dates, cut
1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk
2 tbsp. whiskey or rum
1 c. white raisins

Crush cookies; add fruit, pecans, whiskey and condensed milk. Mix well. Mash into a mold, lined with wax paper and keep in refrigerator. Cut in slices to serve.
