CABBAGE WITH RIBS AND BEANS 
1 cabbage
2 cans Northern beans
1 pkg. of country ribs
Beef or chicken broth
Garlic
Oil
Water

Saute garlic in about 2 or 3 tablespoons oil. Put in ribs and brown on both sides. Remove ribs from pot. Set aside. Put chicken or beef broth in pot. Cut cabbage in quarters and place in pot with broth. Cook slowly a few minutes, then put in beans and rinse cans with water and mix in. Cook slowly until cabbage is done. Just before serving, put ribs back in pot and heat thoroughly. Serve with garlic toast.
