BUTTERSCOTCH CRUNCH SQUARES 
1 c. flour
1/4 c. Quaker oats
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. nuts
1 (12 oz.) jar butterscotch or caramel topping
1 qt. ice cream

1. Combine flour, oats and brown sugar - cut in butter until it is like coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts - pat into 9 x 13 inch pan and bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Stir while still warm to crumble - cool.

2. Spread half in 8 inch pan. Drizzle 1/2 topping over crumbs. Spoon softened ice cream into pan - drizzle remaining topping - sprinkle remaining crumbs - freeze.
