ZEBRA BARS 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
3 c. oatmeal

Mix butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla together. (I like to beat this so it gets good and mixed up.) Then add dry ingredients to above mixture. I never put in the salt. Put 3/4 of the dough in a greased jelly roll pan. I pat it in.

Melt 1 (6 oz.) package of chocolate chips in 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 (14 oz.) can of condensed milk. Pour this melted mixture on top of dough in pan. Then dot the rest of the dough on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Do not over bake. These taste better the second day.
