1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
Hershey kisses, unwrapped

Mix all ingredients (except kisses). Roll into balls about the size of a walnut; roll the balls in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

As soon as you take them out of the oven, place an unwrapped Hershey kiss in the middle of each cookie, making sure you press them in gently but firmly. Makes a whole bunch!
