BEEF STROGANOFF | |
2 lb. beef cubes 1 garlic clove 1 med. onion 4 tbsp. butter 2 tsp. salt Pepper 1/4 tsp. marjoram 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 pt. sour cream 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese 1/2 c. cooking wine (dark) Saute onion and garlic in butter; remove onion and discard garlic. Add meat, brown, then add all remaining ingredients (including sauteed onion) except soup. Do not add sup at this time. Bake 2 hours at 325 degrees in covered pan. After 2 hours of baking, add soup and bake 20 minutes longer. |
