BAKED STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS 
6 med. size green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 c. grated cheese

Cut tops off peppers, remove seeds and precook for 5 minutes in boiling water. Chop tops and add to beef after browning. Add salt, pepper, onions, garlic, and tomato sauce. Add crumbs. Fill peppers. Top with grated cheese and sit upright in baking dish with water in bottom. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
