MACARONI AND CHEESE 
2 c. uncooked macaroni
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
8 oz. sharp or extra sharp cheddar cheese flavored bread crumbs
Salt and pepper to taste

Bring 4 quarts of water to boiling; add macaroni and boil for 6 minutes. Drain. Melt butter. Stir in cornstarch, salt and pepper. Add milk; bring to simmer. Shred or cut cheese into small pieces. Add to milk; simmer until cheese melts. Pour macaroni and cheese sauce together in casserole. Sprinkle flavored bread crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or microwave on HIGH for 10-15 minutes. Serves 4-6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
