REFRIGERATOR BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. Kellogg Bran Buds
1 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. Nabisco Bran 100%

Pour the boiling water over the 2 cups of Bran Buds. Cream together in another bowl - sugar, shortening, add eggs. Sift together flour, soda, salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Add the soaked bran bud mixture. Lastly, add the 1 cup Nabisco Bran. Now it is ready to bake or refrigerate in a tightly covered container. Bake at 325-350 degrees for 20 minutes.

VARIATIONS: Add raisins, nuts, or blueberries before baking. You may store in refrigerator up to 6 weeks and bake as needed.
