COLE SLAW 
8 c. finely chopped cabbage (1 medium head) and 1/4 c. shredded carrot or 1 pkg. cole slaw mix (cabbage and carrots)

Sauce:

1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 tbsp. white vinegar
2 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. mayonnaise

Combine all ingredients listed except cabbage in a large bowl or a jar with a lid. Mix (or shake in the jar) the ingredients well until smooth. Add cabbage and mix well. Chill 1 hour.

Serves 10 to 12 people.
