SAUSAGE - RICE CASSEROLE | |
6 oz. box UNCLE BEN'S® long grain wild rice 2 cans consomme 1/2 lb. lean ground beef 1/2 lb. sausage 1 or 2 cans sliced mushrooms 1/4 c. slivered almonds Mix consomme with rice in covered dish; cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until liquid is gone. Brown sausage and beef. Drain; add to rice mixture with mushrooms and almonds. Heat until warm and serve. (Rice mixture can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated.) Serves 4. |
