WILD RICE AND TURKEY CASSEROLE | |
1 pkg. UNCLE BEN'S® long grain and wild rice 1/2 lb. pork sausage meat 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup 1 lb. cooked turkey or chicken slices Cook rice according to directions on package, using seasonings in package. Cook sausage meat, breaking it up with a fork, until browned lightly all over. Drain mushroom liquid into undiluted mushroom soup. In 2 quart casserole (greased in Pam) layer half the cooked rice, top with a layer using the cooked sausage. Spread half the mushroom slices over the sausage, then half the turkey/chicken slices. Pour half the mushroom soup over all this. Repeat layers once more using remaining ingredients. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until bubbly. Makes 4 servings. |
