CHERRY POUND CAKE 
3 1/4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco
2 sticks butter (soft)
3 c. sugar
6 lg. eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 sm. jar red cherries
1 sm. jar green cherries

Sift together dry ingredients in a separate bowl. In another bowl whip sugar, shortening, and butter together. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each. Alter dry ingredients, mix milk, vanilla, chopped cherries; mix. Pour into greased and floured tube cake pan.
