FROSTING FOR CHERRY NUT POUND
CAKE
 
1/2 stick butter, room temperature
8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
5 oz. maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Blend butter and cream cheese. Gradually add confectioners' sugar, beating until smooth. Add flavorings and mix well. Fold in cherries; spread over cooled cake.
