OBSTTORTE (FRUIT TORTE) 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. corn starch
Sugar
Whipped cream
Strawberries, bananas or any other fresh fruit

Beat butter until creamy; add sugar, vanilla and eggs. Slowly fold in flour and baking powder. If necessary add a few drops of milk.

Rub a spring pan with butter and dust with flour. Spread dough evenly in pan and pierce several times with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

When cool arrange fruit on torte. Heat orange juice and cornstarch until it thickens; pour over torte and refrigerate. When set remove pan sides and serve with whipped cream.
