MOON CAKE | |
1 c. water 1/2 c. butter 1 c. flour 4 eggs 2 sm. vanilla instant pudding mix 8 oz. softened cream cheese Whipped cream or topping Chocolate sauce Mix 1 cup water and 1/2 cup butter. Bring to a boil. Add 1 cup flour, all at once, and stir rapidly until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat and cool a little while. Beat in 4 eggs, one at a time, beating well with spoon or mixer. Spread on ungreased 11x15 inch cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool. Mix 2 small boxes vanilla instant pudding according to package directions. Beat in 8 oz. cream cheese. Blend well. Spread on crust. Refrigerate 20 minutes. Top with whipped cream or topping generously. Drizzle with chocolate sauce. Sprinkle with nuts, if desired. |
