CONEY SAUCE 
2-3 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
3 tsp. chili powder
2 tbsp. bacon grease
2 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. salt
3 cans tomato sauce
2 cans water
2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 c. brown sugar (optional)

Saute onion, garlic, chili powder, and grease until onions are soft. Crumble beef into onions and brown. When browned, add salt, water, and tomato sauce. Cook on low for 45 minutes. The longer it cooks the thicker it gets. Recipe may be halved.
