PRAIRIE FIRE DIP 
1 16 oz. can re-fried beans
1 c. provolone cheese (shredded)
2 tbsp. butter
1 can beer or water
2 tbsp. onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
3 to 4 tbsp. chili powder or to taste
1/2 to 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
Hot pepper sauce to taste

Combine all the above ingredients in a sauce pan. Stir over medium heat until heated thoroughly and cheese is melted. Serve warm in a bowl surrounded with tortilla chips. Serves 8.
