SUZIE'S POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs, beaten
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
1 c. nuts, crushed
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Mix well first 3 ingredients. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, alternately with the sour cream. Add nuts and extracts. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Let stand 5 minutes. (I use a bundt pan.)

GLAZE (if you wish) :
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. orange juice

Mix well to dissolve sugar and drizzle over cake. Also good plain with fruit.
