BUTTERMILK CORNBREAD 
1/2 c. cornbread mix
1 egg
1/3 c. buttermilk or milk + few drops
1/2 tbsp. bacon drippings
Pinch each of salt/sugar/baking soda

Heat iron skillet with bacon drippings in 425°F oven. Mix ingredients. Pour heated drippings in mixture.

Bake approx. 15-17 minutes.
