LASAGNA CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 (12 oz.) cottage cheese
1 (3 oz.) cream cheese
1/4 c. sour cream
1/4 c. Mozzarella, chopped
1 c. sharp cheddar cheese (opt.)
2 c. cooked elbow noodles

Brown ground beef and drain. Add onion, tomato sauce, salt, basil and oregano and simmer. Mix cheeses (extra sharp cheddar) in separate bowl. In 2 quart casserole dish, layer meat, noodles and cheese until gone. Top with sharp cheddar. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Serves 4 to 5.
