KIRSCH KUCHEN 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cherry pie filling

STREUSEL TOPPING:

1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. butter
Dash of cinnamon

Cream butter; add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time; beat thoroughly. Sift flour with salt and baking powder. Add to cream mixture. Blend well (batter will be heavy). Spread 3/4 of batter into buttered pan, 9 x 13 inch. Spread pie filling evenly over. Drop remaining batter by spoonfuls over filling. Spread evenly with spatula; swirl batter. Top with streusel topping. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
