LEB KUCHEN 
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. honey
2 c. ground nuts
1 tbsp. lemon rind
2/3 c. candied lemon and orange peel
3 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Beat eggs, add sugar gradually and honey. Beat well. Add rest of ingredients gradually, mixing well. Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into bars. Place on greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Brush with confectionery sugar frosting while still warm.

Storage: Allow a few days to mellow in tight storage. Yield: 96 bar cookies.
