1 lb. pkg. pork tenderloin or 1 lb. ground pork 1 med. onion, grated 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. each of cinnamon, cloves & allspice If using tenderloin, put through grinder. Mix meat with onion, salt and pepper and enough water to cover. Bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer for about 2 hours. Add spices and continue cooking until almost dry. This makes two small bowls of delicious spread for sandwiches or put on crackers. |
