POP AND CRUNCH SNACK MIX 
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
2 c. oyster crackers
4 c. popped popcorn
1 c. dry roasted peanuts
3 (0.9 oz.) env. mixed chewy fruit bits or cherry, grape, strawberry or orange chewy fruit bits

1. Put the butter in a small saucepan. Put the saucepan on a burner. Turn the burner to low. Heat until the butter is melted. Turn off the burner. Remove the saucepan from the burner. Add apple pie spice. Stir with the wooden spoon to mix.

2. Place the oyster crackers in the mixing bowl. Pour the melted butter mixture over the oyster crackers. Stir until crackers are well coated with the butter mixture.

3. Add popcorn, peanuts and fruit bits. Stir with the wooden spoon or your hands until mixed. To store, put the mix in a container. Cover tightly. Store up to 1 week. Makes 8 cups (16 servings).

Microwave Directions: Place butter in a microwave safe 1 cup measuring cup or custard cup. Put the cup in the microwave oven. Set on high (100%) power. Micro-cook for 40-50 seconds or until butter is melted. Stir in apple pie spice. Follow steps 2 and 3 as directed above.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
