BETTY'S HOT FUDGE SAUCE | |
4 oz. chocolate 3/4 c. light brown sugar 1/2 c. light corn syrup 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. butter 2 tsp. vanilla Combine all the ingredients, except vanilla, in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil. Boil briskly for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Serve warm. This may be stored in the refrigerator. To reheat, place in a pan of hot water, not boiling, until sauce has thinned to pouring consistency. 3 cups. |
