BEST DILL PICKLES 
Cucumbers
1 qt. cider vinegar
2 qt. water
1 c. canning salt
Dill heads or dill seed
Grape leaves (optional)
Garlic

Wash small, medium cucumbers. In clean quart jars place 2 heads of dill, 1 clove of garlic, grape leaf (if desired) per jar and fill with washed cucumbers. If using dill seed allow at least 2 teaspoons per quart. Bring to a boil the vinegar, water and salt.

While boiling hard, fill jars full of the liquid and seal while hot. Zinc lids work best, and wait 1 month before opening.
