BLACK HAWK CREAMED SPINACH (CHICAGO) | |
1 (#2 1/2 can) spinach, strain juice 3 slices bacon 1 sm. onion, minced 1 1/2 tsp. flour Salt & pepper to taste Fry bacon, add 1 small onion and brown in grease. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons flour to make the thickening. Add the spinach juice and cook until smooth, then add chopped spinach. Cook 5 to 10 minutes until spinach has mixed thoroughly. Crumble bacon pieces and spread on top of spinach. |
