MARIE'S SAND TARTS | |
1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. butter 1 c. lard 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg Pinch of salt 4 c. flour Cream sugar, butter, and lard. Beat in vanilla, egg, and salt. Fold in flour and mix completely. Press into sand tart mold. Make the tarts as thin as possible. Bake approximately 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove while they are light. To remove from mold, tap sharply face down onto a table top. |
