MELT IN YOUR MOUTH SUGAR COOKIE | |
1 c. butter 1 c. white sugar 1 c. confectioner's sugar 1 c. vegetable oil 2 eggs 4 1/4 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla Sugar and nutmeg mixture Cream butter, sugars and oil together in large mixing bowl, add eggs. Beat until smooth, add flour, salt, cream of tartar, soda and vanilla. Mix well. Refrigerate dough overnight. Form into walnut size balls, place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten cookies with glass dipped in sugar and nutmeg mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool on rack. |
