1 lg. angel food cake
1 lg. box strawberry Jello
1 qt. vanilla ice cream
1 lg. Cool Whip

Prepare Jello using one cup boiling water and 1 cup cold water. Let Jello partially set. Using mixer, mix in 1 quart vanilla ice cream.

In 13"x9" pan, spread a layer of cake broken into small pieces. Pour half the Jello mixture over cake. Make another layer of cake and pour remaining Jello over it. Allow to set. Spread Cool Whip over cake and Jello.
