BISCUIT PUDDING | |
6 (2 or 3 day old) biscuits (may substitute 4 slices toasted white bread) 3 eggs 3 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla Nutmeg 1/2 c. sugar Beat eggs. Add sugar, milk and vanilla. Slice biscuits crosswise (do not split) in thin strips and arrange in slightly buttered casserole dish. Pour mixture over this. Sprinkle with nutmeg and place dish in pan containing about 2 inches water. Put pan into 400 degree oven and cook about 25 minutes or until done. |
