CLASSIC LASAGNA 
2 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1 sm. jar Ragu, not meat
1 qt. drained canned tomatoes
12 oz. tomato paste
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. oregano leaves
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. basil leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper

Brown ground beef; drain. Add all other ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 15-20 minutes. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.

LASAGNA:

16 oz. cottage cheese
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese

In a bowl, stir together cottage cheese, egg, and Parmesan cheese. In baking pan, spread a thin layer of sauce, a layer of noodles, a layer of meat sauce, a layer of cottage cheese mixture, Mozzarella slices. Repeat all layers. Top with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
