1 c. chopped prunes
1 c. walnuts
2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk

Cream vegetable oil and sugar. Add eggs. Add buttermilk and vanilla. Coat prunes and nuts with part of flour. Stir spices, soda, baking powder and salt in with the rest of the flour. Last stir in nuts and prunes. Bake in a tube pan or two loaf pans at 350 degrees.
