RAVIOLI WITH CREAM SAUCE | |
1 pkg. cheese ravioli (your favorite) 3 tbsp. olive oil 1 tbsp. butter 1 small onion, chopped 4 oz. diced cooked ham 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1/2 cup chicken broth salt and pepper, to taste 1/2 cup whipping cream 1/2 cup white wine pinch of nutmeg 4 tbsp. grated Romano cheese chopped parsley In a large pan, heat oil and butter. Sauté onion and ham. Stir in the flour and add remaining ingredients except the cheese and parsley. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes over medium heat. Cook ravioli according to package directions, drain. Toss with the sauce, cheese and parsley. |
