BLUEBERRY TART | |
1 c. plus 3 tbsp. flour Pinch of salt 3/4 c. sugar & 2 tbsp. 1/2 c. butter 1 tbsp. white vinegar Dash of cinnamon 4 c. fresh blueberries Combine 1 cup flour, salt and 2 tablespoons sugar. Work in butter with pastry blender. Mix in vinegar. Spread crust mixture in a 9 inch pan with removable bottom, up the sides about 1 inch and 1/4 inch on bottom. Combine the remaining 3/4 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons flour and cinnamon. Add 3 cups of the blueberries. Pour into crust and bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven and sprinkle the rest of the blueberries on top. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. |
