PASTA WITH CLAM SAUCE 
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams, undrained
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. pepper
Cayenne pepper to taste
1 tsp. parsley, minced
1 tsp. chives, minced
1 to 2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 c. dry white wine
4 to 6 oz. linguini

In a wok or large pan, combine all ingredients, except linguini, and heat to a boil. Lower heat and simmer while linguini is cooking. (If less juice is desired, do not add second can of reserved clam juice.) Cook linguini according to package directions for 7 minutes or longer. Drain and stir into clam mixture. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, serve. Makes 2 main dish servings or 4 side dish servings.
