APPLE CRUMB PIE 
4 lg. tart apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon and mix with apples which have been peeled and sliced. Arrange in 9 inch pastry-lined pie pan.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter

Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 3/4 cup flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake in hot oven (400 degree) for 40-50 minutes.

Variation: 1 can blueberry pie filling plus topping mixture.
