APPLE CRUMB PIE 
5 c. apples, peeled, cored & sliced
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Prepare apples, mix sugar and cinnamon with apples. Arrange in unbaked pie shell.

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. butter

Mix together sugar and flour. Cut in butter until crumbly (cold butter cuts in better). Sprinkle over apples. Bake in hot oven, 400 degrees for 40 minutes or until done.
