CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 head cabbage (cooked, chopped & drained)
1 recipe for white sauce (recipe follows)
1-1 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 c. buttered crumbs (see sauce recipe)
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

WHITE SAUCE:

1 1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. red pepper

Casserole Directions: Pour half of cooked cabbage in 2 quart casserole and cover with half of white sauce. Sprinkle with half of cheddar cheese and some Parmesan. Use half of cracker crumbs over cheese. Repeat these layers with other half of recipe. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

White Sauce Directions: Melt butter. Remove 2 tablespoons of melted butter and pour over cracker crumbs. Mix flour into milk, then slowly add to butter. Cook and stir constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and add salt and red pepper.
