ITALIAN CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 jar (32 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1/3 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano leaves
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
5 med. potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Cook beef and onion and drain. Add next 7 ingredients. Cook 2 minutes. Spoon 1/3 mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan, then add layer of potatoes. Repeat. End with meat mixture on top. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour or until potatoes are done. Uncover, add cheese. Bake 10 more minutes.
