LASTING LETTUCE SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 1/2 c. cooked, cooled frozen peas
1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
Grated Cheddar cheese
Crisp bacon, crumbled

Chop lettuce in bottom of Pyrex dish. Layer onion, celery, green pepper, and peas. Cover with mayonnaise. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon. Keeps in refrigerator for days. Help yourself and mix on your plate.
