LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD | |
1 head lettuce 1 c. celery, diced 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, raw 1/2 c. green pepper, diced 1 med. onion, diced 8 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled 2 c. mayonnaise 2 tbsp. sugar 4 boiled eggs 4 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded Tear the cleaned crispy lettuce into bite size pieces. Place in a 9"x12" glass dish. Layer rest of ingredients in the order given. Add sugar to mayonnaise and spread over the top as you would frosting a cake. Top with the grated cheese. Cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours. |
