3 eggs
3 c. sugar (part light brown)
1 c. shortening
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in some of the cream
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder sifted in flour

Add flour, enough to make stiff enough dough to roll out. Dredge with sugar and cut. Roll to 1/4" thick. Bake in hot oven, 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
