BAR-B-QUE CHICKEN | |
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. molasses 1/4 c. ketchup 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 clove garlic, minced Dash of Tabasco sauce 8 pieces chicken breast, legs, thighs Skin chicken pieces, cut breasts in half. In a large bowl, mix together Dijon mustard, vinegar, molasses, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and Tabasco for marinade. Marinate chicken for an hour (less if you haven't planned ahead). Remove chicken and reserve remaining marinade. Barbecue or boil chicken for 10 minutes. Turn and coat chicken with marinade and continue cooking until done. Heat reserved marinade to boiling, simmer for 2 minutes and spoon over chicken before serving. Serves 8. Marinate chicken for an hour. 1 breast = 165 calories with 8 being saturated fat calories. 1 thigh = 150 calories with 14 being saturated fat calories. |
