PESTO, PRESTO 
2 c. coarsely chopped fresh basil
3/4 c. olive oil
1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
1/4 c. pine nuts
2 lg. cloves garlic, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. coarse salt
1 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1/2 c. freshly grated Romano cheese

Place all ingredients except cheese in blender or food processor container fitted with metal blade. Process with on off turns until smooth, about 5 minutes. Transfer mixture to medium bowl. Stir in cheese. Taste and adjust seasonings. This recipe makes 6 servings when served over cooked pasta.
