STUFFED PEPPERS 
6 med. peppers
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 c. cooked long grain rice
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can tomato soup
6 slices sharp cheese

Cut off tops of green peppers; remove seeds and membrane. Combine hamburger, rice, onion, salt, pepper and garlic; mix well. Fill peppers with meat mixture.

Arrange snugly in a 3-quart casserole with one pepper in center. Combine soup and 1/2 cup water; mix well. Pour soup mixture over peppers. Cover tightly with plastic wrap.

Microwave on HIGH for 28-32 minutes. Place cheese slices over pepper. Cover loosely. Let stand 5-10 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
