NORTH OF ENGLAND)
 
Lamb chops
Onions
Vegetables: turnip root, carrots, potatoes
Canned tomatoes
Stock (bouillon cube)
Seasoning
Mushrooms

Place lamb chops in an oven-proof dish. Cover with slices of onion, diced turnip root, and carrots. Add mushrooms, canned tomatoes, and stock. Cover with round slices of potato. Cover with lid or foil. Make sure stock or gravy covers everything. Bake at 350 degrees for 3 hours.
